Hello, welcome at the Marver's Fortuna website !

We are Marc & Marieke and live in Balen - Belgium.  Everything started in 2000 when we bought our Bonnie v.d. Mestreechteneerkes, a very fine female out of the best European bloodlines. She has proven herself many times on shows and she became Dutch, Belgian, Luxembourg and International Champion.

We like to thank the Fam. Meerten for the fantastic start that they give us.

Because of Bonnie's great success at the dog shows, we decided to breed a litter at the end of 2001. We looked out for a good stud male and we found Breur v.d. Mestreechteneerkes, whose pedigree was perfectly compatible with Bonnie's. Our first "Van Marver's Fortuna" litter was born in 16/01/2002. Of that first litter we kept Coba & Laura van Marver's Fortuna.

Our Multi Ch. Charlothe & Mult. Ch. Claartje were born in 2003 out of Ch. Coba & Multi Ch. Kadin's Urkan van Sans Pareil. This combination has proven its success more than once and we decided to use Urkan more often as stud male for our females.

This way we built our very own blood line, with several successes over the years at many international dog shows all over the world. It is not only the work of our own Frenchies but also the result of the achievements of descendants of our kennel who are living abroad and doing great in the show ring.
